Winnie is a speech therapist who graduated from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Speech and Language Pathology with Second Class Honours (Division One). Winnie is registered under the Allied Healthcare Professions Council in Singapore. She is passionate about working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and significant others to provide the best and professional services that adapt to her clients' communication and swallowing needs.

Winnie has had experience working with both paediatric and adult population in both New Zealand and Singapore. She has experience implementing therapy intervention across various settings including special needs school, private practice, nursing home and hospital. She has conducted therapy program with pre-school and school age children with difficulties in articulation, phonology, language and social skills. She also worked with children with special needs and conducted augmentative and alternative communication approach to adapt to their functional communication needs. Her interests lie in the areas of paediatric speech and language, literacy and special needs.

Winnie is a motivated and cheerful therapist. This allowed her to build positive rapport with her clients and worked collaboratively with their significant others in planning an individualised therapy for each of her clients. She is an advocate of family-centred practice and always enjoy working and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic approach for her every client. Winnie is able to converse fluently in English and Mandarin, this skill has helped her to better support her clients' needs during the intervention programs.
