Shafiqah is a Speech and Language Therapist who graduated from Curtin University in Australia. She also has a diploma in Child Psychology and Early Education from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore. She is passionate about empowering children with the necessary communicative skills and about making a difference to the lives of the clients she sees.
Shafiqah is a therapist who is fluent in English and Malay, and has experience working with children in both Australia and Singapore. She has experience in various settings including private clinics, hospitals, and schools. In these settings, she actively strived for holistic and client-centred care for children with developmental delays and disorders, children who stutter, speech and language delays and disorders, feeding difficulties, and children with pragmatic language difficulties.
Shafiqah has always had an interest in working with children, specifically with children with autism and articulation difficulties. She loves finding out what interests and motivates a child and using this in therapy to keep the child engaged and motivated for the best possible therapy outcomes. She is also committed to providing evidence-based practice to ensure optimal quality therapy for all her clients.
