Dawn graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Psychology. She has 5 years of experience working with children with special needs across various ages, levels of functioning and diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Global Development Delay and Speech Delays etc.

Dawn specializes in ABA, aiming to use these techniques to accelerate a child’s growth across various facets of need; behaviour, language, learning to learn, play and vocational aspects. Having undergone intensive ABA training, she is well versed in the systematic execution and individualisation of intervention in both her 1:1 and group teachings. A quote that she strongly resonates with is: ’If a child can’t learn the way we teach, we should teach the way they learn’.

She is driven in capitalizing on the child’s strengths and interests, enabling children to achieve their goals while enjoying their learning.

She firmly believes in the collaboration of parents, teachers and caregivers, and is dedicated in forming a partnership with stakeholders to effectuate behaviour change in all settings. She is passionate in going beyond to ensure the family’s challenges and needs are met. Her ambition is to implement strategies to empower families and to provide a continuous learning journey for special needs children.
