Samantha is a registered Psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society and is experienced in assessing and diagnosing neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and learning difficulties.
She previously worked at the National University Hospital (Singapore) as part of a multi-disciplinary community mental health team, where she conducted mental health assessments for children and teenagers, and carried out interventions for mood, anxiety, behavioural or social difficulties.
Samantha’s therapeutic approach is guided mainly by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Social Thinking. Her gentle and approachable nature helps children to feel comfortable with sharing about their difficulties, and she believes that a strong client-therapist relationship is an important factor in helping her clients progress and thrive.
Samantha hopes for every child to live to their fullest potential without being held back by their difficulties.
