Audrey is an enthusiastic and experienced teacher whose passion lies in helping children achieve their potential, especially children who possess learning difficulties. As a qualified teacher, her teaching career spans over 10 years and her experience includes working with children in mainstream as well as special needs settings within local primary schools and international organisations. The children she works with are primarily between the ages of 3 and 12.
She believes that every child is unique and thus requires lessons that are tailored to meet the child’s individual needs. She creates lesson plans that are multisensory in nature in order to cater to the children who possess different learning styles. Audrey provides the children under her care with the skills and strategies to succeed in the areas of reading, writing, spelling, comprehension and numeracy.
It is important that children enjoy the learning process. It is her goal that children develop the love for learning and along the journey develop greater confidence and self-esteem. Over the years, teaching has brought her great joy and satisfaction especially when she sees children succeed and start believing in themselves.
