Structured Teaching is a teaching strategy that makes use of the child’s skills, special interests and needs. The main concept of structured teaching is to develop the child to his full potential, intellectually, creatively, emotionally and socially by focusing on the child’s unique strengths and interests. |
- Visual Schedules are used to help the child understand and predict the sequence of activities in the classroom
- Work System enables the child to understand what work he has to do, how much work is required, when it will be finished and what is next
- Visual Structure makes use of visual instructions, visual organization and visual clarity
EIP PROGRAMS
- Academic skills such as numeracy, language, literacy, cognition, etc
- Social Development such as development of problem solving, sharing, turn taking and thinking skills through work & creative play
- Group Speech Therapy
- Group Occupational Therapy
- Adaptive Daily Living Skills such as toileting, snack preparation
- Snack and feeding habits incorporated in the program (snacks to be provided by parents)
- Music and Movement (working on fine and gross motor skills through music, game and play)
- Art and Craft (imaginative and creative skills through art expression using different media and materials)
- Computer Skills for Pre-schoolers
- Optional: Individual speech or occupational therapy sessions are at additional cost
